Purpose
Our purpose is to reach children when they are in their early childhood to understand God’s love for each of them. This step is an important truth for a child to carry throughout
his/her life.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Our
Goal
At Sharon Baptist Church, our goal as Children's Church teachers is to teach children God’s Word in a way they can understand and believe the Bible.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Our
Objective
Our objective is to teach children the meaning of Salvation and to see them accept Jesus at an early age.
“14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them; 15 And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

The Children's Church teachers use several tools to teach these truths to children: The Bible and memory verses, christian books, curriculum from Abeka Books, flannel graphs, songs, storytelling, videos and more.
